Live streaming freezes & crashes during certain commercials. This issue has been randomly occurring for several years and has not yet been fixed. Also, Live TV streaming no longer appears in Live Channels. Please restore this functionality.
When I first installed a couple months ago, it worked as I had hoped, now it hasn't been working on my NVidia Shield Pro (2019) for some weeks, what happened ? Just says it cannot play
Really disappointed since I love Bloomberg News. Unfortunately, the app is almost unusable on my Android TV device. The live stream will work for a few minutes before I receive a "Playback Error" message and have to restart the app. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling, but the issue remains. No other issues with other live streaming news apps I use -- just the one I WANT to use.
Why was the streaming live channel removed with the latest update? It was really convenient and easy to access. The alternative now is to enter the app in order to watch the live channel and requires more clicks... Please, restore the convenience asap.
Not working on my phone.
wont even run
Can't even open the app. "Error: this application cannot be run on this device".
Keeps showing “unable to load video” on most videos. On the rare occasions when it works, it’s a great app.
good content
Decent enough quality for on-demand recorded videos (thought it could be better; looks to be 720p, albeit somewhat sharp, which isn't quite as pleasing as 1080p, a resolution that would be on a 4K TV), but the Live channel is a garbled, grainy, pixelated mess to look at. The app is alright, and I enjoyed its integration with the Recommended list, but sadly it's yet another one out there which falls short on overall quality. It seems there are very few companies out there capable of providing quality streaming content; Netflix, YouTube and TED are the only ones I've found so far. The Twitch app is also reasonable I might add, though they limit their users to 3500 Kbps, meaning they can't reasonably go much higher than 720p either and it'll be highly individual from stream to stream how good it looks. This shouldn't have said problems though, this is a all-Bloomberg app with Bloomberg content. I'd hope they can step up their game in the future. I'd even subscribe to a quality stream (minimum 1080p, but preferably 4K) from Bloomberg TV+. As-is, I will leave this one uninstalled and perhaps look into it again in the future.
